Founded in 1908, the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA) is known for producing the best trained professional accountants - accountants who understand business and know what makes business work. The program is an educational program which emphasizes competencies in: audit, financial management and accounting, strategy, taxation and analytical problem solving.

　　The whole CGA program contains 19 courses, from foundation level, advanced level, to professional level (see Program Structure). 　　The two final examinations in the CGA program utilize an integrative comprehensive analytical approach to solving business problems through case analysis.
