　　SME International Trade Project
　　Building on previous research supporting Canada’s small and medium-sized business sector, CGA-Canada is undertaking a year-long research and consultation project to understand the challenges and opportunities presented to the SME sector by Canada’s international trade agenda (Global Commerce Strategy). To mark the start of this project, CGA-Canada released Canada’s Global Trade Agenda: Opportunities for SMEs.
 
　　CGA-Canada has produced several studies that have looked at the challenges and opportunities facing SMEs. In fall 2013, it will consult with owners and managers to learn what more can be done to grow the number of firms involved in international trade. It will then publish a summary of its findings.
