　　CGA employee benefit program
　　The CGA Association provides CGAs, their employees, and families with an employee benefit program designed to be flexible and comprehensive.
　　CGAs in public practice and their permanent employees, working at least 20 hours per week, are eligible to apply for this employee benefit program.
 
　　Program Requirements
　　Each firm chooses the benefits it wishes to provide. However, each firm must have a core package before optional benefits can be added.
 
　　The core package consists of:
　　Basic Life Insurance
　　Basic Accidental Death and Disablement Insurance (A.D.&D.)
　　Long-term Disability Insurance (LTD)
 
　　The optional package consists of:
　　Extended Health Care
　　Dental Care
　　Short-term Disability Insurance
　　Critical Illness
　　Dependent Life Insurance
　　Optional Life Insurance (available to employee and/or spouse)
　　Optional Accidental Death and Disablement Insurance (available to employee and dependents)
　　Optional Critical Illness (available to employee and/or dependents)
 
　　Some unique features of CGA's benefits program
　　A.D.&D. has a real focus on Disablement, with benefit provisions for Para, Quadra, and Hemiplegia paid at 200%, and additional benefits available for home modification, lift devices, rehabilitation, and so on.
　　LTD coverage provides Own Occupation definitions for CGAs, and has provisions for Total and Partial Disabilities. Total Disability never has to exist to become entitled to a benefit payment.
　　Optional A.D.&D. and Optional Critical Illness coverages are available without medical evidence.
