　　Candidates seeking doctoral funding from CGA-Canada must meet the following eligibility criteria:
 
　　1.be a Certified General Accountant in good standing,
 
　　2.be enrolled in a full-time doctoral program,
 
　　3.be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant; have demonstrated that the planned program of studies will qualify the candidate for a career in teaching and research in accounting, auditing, finance, taxation, or other related business disciplines;
 
　　4.declare the intent to pursue a career as a faculty member at a Canadian university; and
 
　　5.agree to clearly acknowledge CGA financial support on the final thesis/dissertation and on other publications/presentations directly arising from the thesis.
