　　Founded in 1908, the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA-Canada) is the national self-regulating body serving 75,000 Certified General Accountants (CGAs) and students in Canada and nearly 100 countries around the world. Students are enrolled in the CGA Program of Professional Studies in Canada, Bermuda, the Caribbean, Hong Kong and the People’s Republic of China.
 
　　CGA-Canada sets national educational, professional and practice standards, provides services to affiliates and members, and contributes to domestic and international accounting standard setting. Additionally, CGA-Canada develops and maintains the CGA Certification and Education Program, administers professional practice and member standards, conducts research and advocacy and promotes cooperative relationships with other leading national and international bodies.
