  Over the years, CGA-Canada has sought to position CGAs uniquely in the accounting professional marketplace.
 
  Our innovative and accessible education program is second to none in the field of accounting. New CGAs are excelling in all walks of life. Employers are increasingly seeking out CGAs to fill a wide range of management and executive positions in their organizations. And organizations from every sector are increasingly looking to CGAs to meet consulting needs.
 
  This success did not happen by accident. It was part of a well-orchestrated series of actions implemented over time, aimed at improving the competitive positioning of CGAs in a rapidly changing environment.
 
  CGAs live by their responsibility to the general public and to society at large. We are strong advocates of ethical practice with a strong and abiding commitment to public accountability. Recent accomplishments of note include the following:

  What is the image, reputation, identity of excellence, product positioning and/ or brand recognition that CGAs must have in the future to succeed?
 
  What is the nature of the association’s future relationships with universities, colleges and other professional bodies?
 
  What are the impacts of demographic changes facing Canada and the rest of the world and how should they be addressed?
 
  Our new strategic plan addresses these key questions and provides a solid blueprint for the future.
