国务院批准中国国际贸易促进委员会对外经济贸易仲裁委员会改名为中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会，现行隶属关系不变，其受理案件的范围为国际经济贸易中发生的一切争议。
　　中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会的仲裁规则，由你会根据我国法律和我国缔结或者参加的国际条约，并参照国际惯例，对现行仲裁规则进行修订，经你会委员会会议通过后发布施行。今后仲裁规则由你会自行修订。

　　THE STATE COUNCIL'S OFFICIAL REPLY CONCERNING THE RENAMING OF THE FOREIGN ECONOMIC AND TRADE ARBITRATION COMMISSION AS THE CHINA INTER- NATIONAL ECONOMIC AND TRADE ARBITRATION COMMISSION AND THE AMENDMENT OF ITS ARBITRATION RULES（June 21， 1988）
　　China Council for the Promotion of International Trade：The State Council approves the renaming of the Foreign Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission of your Council as the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. The existing relationship of its subordination remains unchanged and its scope of handling cases covers all disputes arising from international economic and trade transactions. The Arbitration Rules of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission shall be amended by your Council in accordance with China's laws and the international treaties concluded or acceded to by China and with reference to international practice， and then promulgated for implementation after adoption by your Council. Hereafter， any amendments to the Arbitration Rules shall be made by your Council's own decision.
