Compensation methods may contribute only to employee attitudes toward TQM. Employee practices may contribute only to employee attitudes toward TQM. Internal and external analysis is concerned with identifying the strengths and weakness of the company to provides managers with the information they need to build the strategies and business models necessary to attaining and sustaining competitive advantage, but this does not revolve around TQM. TQM is an approach that is committed to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of the company's products or services.
